Platform Bed Assembly Instructions
This guide works for all of our platform beds with drawers, the Dakota Platform bed, the Aspen Platform bed, Aspen Double Top Rail Platform Bed, and the Timber Frame Platform bed.
Required Tools:
1/2” Deep Socket Wrench or Ratchet Wrench
Before you begin: Remove any packaging materials and separate the pieces. You should have the following pieces:
Step 1: Place the headboard as close to the final location as possible. Remove the nut & washer from each bolt.
Step 2: Align the drawer boxes with the bolts in the headboard one at a time. Insert the bolts into the drawer boxes fully.
Step 3: Add 1 washer and nut to each bolt and tighten until snug.
Step 4: Align the bolts on the footboard with the holes in the drawers. Repeat step 3. If you purchased a king size bed continue to step 5, if you purchased a queen size or smaller you are finished! Add your mattress, no box spring required.
Step 5 (King size beds only): Place the plywood filler board between the drawer boxes. Add your mattress, no box spring required.
